This year’s expo; under the theme “Setting up your business for success” will feature The BIPOC Business Resource Center and The First BIPOC
Business Awards. The resource center will feature governmental, public and private entities that are intentional and committed to providing
resources aimed at empowering BIPOC business owners to set up their business for success. These resources include business planning, marketing,
finance, access to capital, legal, Technology and so much more! This is an opportunity for business owners to meet with stakeholders in person, learn
about the products and services they offer and establish meaningful connections. During the awards, eligible business owners will have the
chance to participate in a raffle drawing and the opportunity to win a cash prize of at least $3,000.
Activities happening during the day of the Expo are:
The BIPOC Business Resource Center: The resource center is an exhibit of government, public and private entities that are intentional about providing resources to BIPOC businesses that will empower these business owners to set up their business for success. These resources include business planning, marketing,
finance, access to capital, legal, Technology and so much more! This is an opportunity for business owners to meet with stakeholders in person, gain insights into the products and services they offer and establish meaningful connections. The First BIPOC Business Awards: BIPOC business owners will get an
opportunity to enter in our inaugural raffle drawing offering a chance at winning a cash prize of at least $3,000. To enter the competition, eligible businesses must adhere to the following criteria:
● Complete the awards entry form – Click here to win $3,000
● Must have registered as a business prior to Jan 31, 2023
● Must complete the Federal Department of Treasury BOI report at the time of entry
● Must attend one 90 minute, in-person access-to- capital preparation course offered by IFRI-TRVY prior to the expo. There
will be three courses offered prior to the expo. These courses are designed to help business owners understand the lending
process and assess their loan readiness
● Businesses must have in-person representation at the expo to qualify for the prize

● Doors Open: 3:00 pm
● Business Resource Center: 3:00 pm to 5: 30 pm
● BIPOC Business Awards: 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
○ 5:45pm to 6:15 pm: “Getting down to business”. An open Q&A session with business experts serving as panelist
○ 6:15 pm to 6:30pm: Raffle winners announced
○ 6:30 pm to 7:00pm: Network & Connect

Sponsorship Summary: The following benefits will be provide to our sponsors depending on sponsorship levels:
● Sponsorship dollars contribute to cash prizes for “The First BIPOC Business Awards.”
● Sponsors are acknowledged as grantor during awards ceremony
● Sponsors are granted permission to use “BIPOC Business Expo” tagline on any advertising.
● Logo treatment on ifritryv.org and web link will be included in all email campaigns, promotional flyers and media coverage.
● Logo treatment on photo ops banner.
● Banner Ad and logo linked to sponsor’s website from Expo page on IFRI-TRYV website.
● Special on stage acknowledgement during the awards.
● Sponsors will receive a table in the resource center to exhibit their
organization products and services. Vendor package will include 1 Vendor table (30in wide x 6ft long) and 2 chairs per vendor table.
● Access to over 100 BIPOC business owners within IFRI-TRYV’s network.
● Sponsor events/programs to be included in IFRI-TRYV’s content
calendar until 12/31/2024. Sponsors must provide content and
supporting graphics at least two weeks prior to the set event.
● Sponsor to be featured in an 1-3 minute video that will highlight their
specific organization and the program(s) that they currently offer. Our
team will coordinate filming date, time and locations prior to
filming.
● Receive a BIPOC Expo Swag Bag containing (T-Shirt, Cap, Pen, NotePad, etc)
● Sponsorship dollars will contribute to cash prizes for “The First BIPOC Business Awards.”Sponsors will be granted the permission to use “BIPOC Business Expo” tagline on any advertising.

This fee applies to independent contractors and non-legacy organizations that are intentional about providing tangible outcomes to BIPOC business in minnesota.
● Vendors will receive a table in the resource center to exhibit their organization products and services. Vendor packages include 1 Vendor table (30in wide x 6ft long) and 2 chairs per vendor table.
● Logo Treatment on ifritryv.org and web link will be included in all email campaigns, promotional flyers and media coverage.
● Access to over 100 BIPOC business owners within IFRI-TRYV’s network.
