BIPOC
Business Expo
The BIPOC Business Expo stands as a cornerstone of our efforts to level the playing field for BIPOC entrepreneurs. This annual event provides a platform for business owners to connect with industry leaders, potential investors, and service providers. Attendees gain access to a wealth of resources on business planning, marketing, finance, and so much more. Our goal is to equip BIPOC business owners with the tools they need to thrive and connect with other entrepreneurs.
Elevate Hennepin
IFRI-TRYV/Tashie George is an Elevate Hennepin business advisor offering Hennepin County businesses up to 25 hours of at no cost, including:
- Business concept research, plans, and strategy
- Market research and feasibility studies
- 1-on-1 business coaching and entrepreneur development
- Business and financial analysis
- Access to capital preparation
- Business consultant referrals in finance, market, legal services, and more
We serve our clients by providing access to resources and capital, and thus bridging the disparities that BIPOC businesses face to set their business up for success. We ensure our clients are prepared to start, build, and grow a business, no matter their current standing. From our founding in 2020 to the present, we have delivered over 9,500 hours and counting of business coaching, in addition to community projects ranging from hosting annual BIPOC business expositions to empowering young women with vocational and entrepreneurial skills in Liberia. We are more than a service provider; we are a community builder and catalyst for prosperity.
Uniting
Distant Stars
Through our ongoing partnership with Uniting Distant Stars, we are committed to fostering vocational skills and entrepreneurship among young women and men in Liberia. Our annual fundraisers support scholarships that allow underprivileged youth to attend vocational training, thereby building skills that lead to sustainable employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
In 2025, we are opening a branch of the IFRI-TRYV Business Clinic in partnership with Uniting Distant Stars to help bring education to young entrepreneurs.

Our efforts extend internationally with programs designed to empower young women in Liberia. These programs focus on vocational training and entrepreneurial development, helping participants step outside their comfort zones and build a prosperous future.
